Hello DGIA Families!

Parent Teacher Association. It’s a school-based organization made up of parents, teachers, and school staff who work together to support students and improve the school community.

🏫 What Does the PTA Do?

• Organizes events like book fairs, family nights, and fundraisers
• Supports teachers with classroom supplies and appreciation events
• Advocates for school improvements and student needs
•  
• Builds community by encouraging parent involvement and communication

👥 Who Can Join?

• Any parent, guardian, teacher, or staff member at the school
• Membership is usually open year-round and may involve a small fee

🌟 Why It Matters

• Helps create a stronger connection between home and school
• Gives parents a voice in school decisions
• Provides volunteer opportunities to support students and staff

 

  We are so excited for all the fun things we have planned this year.  Dorothy Grant is home of the Volunteers, and that's exactly what we need to make this school year successful.
