Like many of our students, I was born at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana, I knew I wanted to be an educator at an early age. I didn't have any educators in my family, but I felt like it was my calling. I went on to receive my undergraduate's degree and credential in multiple subjects with a concentration in History at Cal State San Bernardino. I also hold a master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Second Language Learners). I was fortunate enough to apply and be hired in the Fontana School District. Since then, I've taught at two different schools and found that Dorothy Grant is my true home. I'm so proud to work in this community and have the support of my administration, colleagues, parents, and students year after year is After 11 years of being a teacher, I can say that I get up every morning happy to come to work and be with my students. Every day is a new adventure that I'm grateful to take part in.
